Bob Vander Plaats Phone Bank

Bob Vander Plaats phone bank is operational on Huck PAC. I'm counting

on each of you to make at least 10 phone calls. The phone bank will be

up until Wednesday afternoon. I will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on

February 24 to campaign for my good friend Bob Vander Plaats, who is

A bill has been introduced to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). If the federal government enacts the proposed legislation, it will effectively cancel bills and amendments regarding marriage passed by the states. We encourage you to sign our petition in support of DOMA.

Phone Bank for Bob McDonnell Operational

We have an opportunity to start turning the tide right now. Two states are electing governors this year and it is very likely that they will elect Republican governors. Huck Pac has endorsed Bob McDonnell in the Virginia Governors race. This election is only 10 days away. You can help by making calls to get out the vote for Bob. He has a significant lead in the polls, but that sometimes creates complacency in voters. We will be calling to remind them how important their vote is.

    Last week I went with a group for a House Call on the local office of Congressman Jim Oberstar. This group has been requesting a meeting with the Congressman since last summer. One of the things his local office staffer, Ken Hasskamp told us is that our concerns about abortion funding in the health care bill were baseless because the Hyde Amendment prevented the use of federal funds for abortion.
